ok so there are three wires on the connector and two wires one siren. can somebody show picture of which pins go where?

Am I correct in understanding that the factory HD siren has a battery back up? I was thinking by doing it this way with the RS siren all someone would have to do is pull the side cover off and pull the main fuse-

You are correct. If that is an issue, best to go with the factory unit.

I did the install today. I spent more time at radio shack trying to find the siren, than the install took.

If someone was going to go to the trouble to remove the side cover and pull the main fuse, then they could just unhook the connector for the siren which is a few inches forward of the fuse.

Sorry, I forgot to come back and give an update. The plug I received is the correct configuration but it is much bigger in size than the one Harley is using on their end...unfortunately it will not work.
