Radio Shack - Alarm Siren Install - 2011 RGC
#172
This was a great mod! I installed dual sirens mounted to a piece of 1x1 aluminum angle which I filed a little so that it would lock into the existing clips provided for the OEM siren. I changed out the existing plug to a Delphi GT 150 set and added a hidden waterproof toggle switch so that I can turn off the siren when desired.

Here are some pictures of the Radio Shack alarm attached to the MetriPack GT150 series mating connector available from Caspers Electronics. I believe this connector is custom made by Caspers Electronics since the GT150 series are only device connectors i.e. sensors, switches and such – there isn't a male mating connector available from Delphi.

Dude you need to clean under there! Lol
A couple of quick questions, first the plug on the bike has three wires, anyone know what the third wire does?
Would it be possible to get a plug from HD? They must list connectors, does anyone know?
And finally, I installed a siren on my 09 it was an HD siren and it came with a rechargeable 9v battery in it. The idea was if the battery was disconnected the siren would still wail powered by the 9v battery. Do they make a siren like that from Rat shack or wherever?
I may have just answered my own question on what the third wire was for, charging circuit perhaps for the battery?
Thanks for the info guys, I think I may have to try this one.
