What height Klock Werks flare for 5'9" rider?
My buddy just got a RG Ultra CVO and wants a KW flare shield for it. What height will work for him as he is 5'9"? Also, it it states on the KW website that it won't work on the CVO RG so i called and talked to KW. they told me the rubber seal has to be taken off. I assume the rubber seal is part of the shield?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Depends..... does he want to look over it or through it? I run a Clearview shield. They are measured from the top of the gauge nacelle, to the top of the shield.
I'm 5'10" and with a 14" Clearview, I look through it in my normal semi-slouched riding position. If I sit up real straight, I can look over it.
With the Klock Werks You have a choice of 12" or 16".... or really short. If they are measured like the Clearview shields, the 12" would be nose height, and the 16" would be upper forehead.... and really short would be like not having a windshield.
I'd ask your buddy what he wants and then give KW a call and get their opinion...... it's their shield after all.
