UPDATE: since my stalling problem yesterday, I re routed the tank vent tube so there is no chance for the new seat to pinch it, I took off my soft lowers (it is said not to run them above 50 deg) and put some injector cleaner/dry gas in my tank, and I am no longer filled to the brim. Went for a ride tonight and all is good, no issues at all.
Not sure which change fixed it, but it is better, and I'm relieved.
