Default Ultra lower fairing snap on doors

I just picked up my 2011 limited in january and have fought and fought with those damn snaps holding the doors on. I have come up with something that makes them easier going back on. Just take a very very small dab of clear grease and lightly coat the male snaps on the fairings. Those doors fly back on the bike now, lol.... I dont mind taking them off now. Just a little tip for anyone gettin their butt kicked putting those doors back on.

Most folks take those darn plastic ones off and put on real metal snaps.

I'm ordering the lockable doors. Those snap on covers suck.

I removed mine and installed Hogtune speakers
right off the bat, didn't want them to start with.

I am going to do the same but think I will get the ones from eGlidegoodies and go with one locking door and one quick access one.

I like the idea of being able to open one while riding.

I used white lithium grease as it never dries out.
