Hello all,

I'm really stoked about decking out my bike in the "narrow band" collection. The problem is, the hand grips on HD's website state they only fit "...'96-'07 Touring models."

What changed between 07 and above that stops me from installing these on my 2011? I thought grips were grips...


Worst case, I just buy the floorboards, shifter(s),pegs and brake pedal and find a nice hand grip that (sorta) matches...

 

2008 onwards, they changed to an electronic throttle so grips for the touring bikes upto 2007 will not work on our newer touring models. When I bought my 2008 RK, the selection was very limited as well. I was able to finally get the grips I wanted in the PM Renthal grips.

Now there are quite a few manufacturers that are making grips for the newer touring models so I'm sure that you will be able to find something to your liking.
