I have one of the newer model serts and every time a new sert thread comes up I read and consistently find people talking about upgrading to the tts master tune. My question is what's my advantage for doing this? I have visited their website and didn't find much info.

 

How new? If it's an 08>newer model, it can not be converted. Newer models are actually called SEPST (pro super tuner). If you do indeed have a SEPST, it is an extremely capable tuning device. The key will be to find a tuner who can take advantage of all it has to offer...

 

It depends on what parts you choose and what tuner your using, I like my SEPST, I am sticking with all HD Screamin' eagle parts so its easy for me to find maps and such. There really is no advantage with the TTS vs SEPST but the SERT is outdated and has limited abilities. The TTS is a good tuner and the SEPST is also a good tuner. Look at Price in addition to the other two factors I have mentioned.

 

I heard but do not know for sure that the SERT (SE Race Tuner) can adjust closed loop area whereas the SEPST (SE Performance Street Tuner) is EPA friendly and can't adjust closed loop because of the new EPA regulations of selling parts after a certain date.
