can anyone tell me how to hook up an oil press. gauge on my 2004 electra glide. i have the original type to install but not sure about wiring. i bought new oil gauge kit. it says to Mate wires w/ interconnect wire harness connectors to gauge. would like to return new kit, and use oil gauge i bought on e bay. can i buy those connectors, or should my bike already have them. its an flht model with oil lite only. would like to know what press. im running. thanks 4 looking

 

The gauge has to have a seperate sending unit that you screw into the oil pan and the wires would have connectors already on them. One wire goes from the sending unit to the gauge with a connector on it and the other one goes from the gauge to a switched source.
