$40 for washers and spacers.....
I am going to be installing my new chrome front wheel, and the spacers from my bike are not chrome, so wanted to get replacement spacers and washers in chrome. Started checking around the internet and come up with $40 for 2 spacers, washer, and a nut. Any suggestions out there, that seems a bit steep for a handful of chrome, or am I wrong? Would the stock spacers be real noticeable if I installed them? What do the experts think, am I being a tight wad, tell me what you all think.

I'm a tightwad- I stick with the stock wheels, rarely do I change out a trim piece for looks.
How ever you are putting a piece on your bike that is meant to draw the eye---
so I think you'll be getting some chrome bits- maybe you can do better shopping around.
Check the classifieds here, and post a "wanted ad" as well.
I've sold a few things because seeing an ad reminded me what i had on a shelf, and realising I was never going to use it...

oh, and if you are planning a trip to the desert, the dust wipes off of chrome easier!

Changing out the front end and leaving off the final few pieces...does not make sense to me! You've spent a ton of $$$ already on the major parts, why not go ahead and get the last bit of 'bling' to complete the process? I would notice it each and every time I looked at my bike! Should these parts have been in the front end kit...yes! Expensive...sure! Worth it in the end...you bet!
Good luck!
