There are two people here who have tried both. Both of them said that they were about even. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I agree. When you get down to it you will have a regret free decision with either.

I have been going back and fourth also. The Ohlins have adjustable length and the Ricor are fixed. If Ricor is still giving the promo deal, they are $100 less than the #3-3 Ohilns.

Just got my Ricors and Intimidators in the mail yesterday. Nice looking shocks. Can't wait to get them on the road.

I thought the Ricor were adjustable too. Isn't the adjusting height the same as adjusting the sag?

Added: The Ricors are about $120 cheaper.

Some Ohlins bottom mount eye screws in or out besides the sag setting via the spring pre-load. I did not need that as I like how my bike currently sits and order the shock length accordingly.

Yes they are "adjustable". I put quotation marks because you are really adjusting the sag. Honestly, the height adjustability is barely perceptable. My recommendation is to choose the right shock length, set the sag to your comfort - this can take some time to hit the sweet spot - and then ride.

The Ricor guys can help with some recommendations on height and sag.
