3 ohm? All the Hertz speakers I find on their weird web site are 4 ohm.

No where I looked tells the country of manufacture.

Which model Hertz did you buy?

The Biketronic Titan 6.5's are the 3-ohm. My Hertz HCX-165's are the high end Hertz model and are 4-ohm. The quality between these Hertz and the J&M's is just not anywhere close.

I've heard from several sources the Biketronic Titan 6.5's and the HCX-165 are the same speaker. Biketronics has them made under their label on a contract deal.

Shore,

Were you able to hook up with J&M @ their display? Like to hear and end users eval.

shore ,,,,,,

we had a chance today at the J&M audio trailer here at Daytona Beach, to hear a set of the Hertz speakers mounted in a StreetGlide ,,,,,, that was before we replaced them with a set of J&M 7.25" models ,,,,,

the customer was NOT impressed with the Hertz 6.5's and frankly I was not either ? ,,,,,,

Shore, will the Hertz speakers you speak of work with my J&M amp? If not along with my speakers it's going in my boy's Tonka Toy, if he let's me.

If it won't work, Which amp would you suggest?

Yes, the amp is compatible with all the speakers mentioned here.

I'm gonna tell you guys this.

Go listen to all these speakers ON YOUR OWN. You set the levels and use the same audio. Don't let one person do it for you. Try it with an amp and without. Apples to apples. Stand next to the bike like you're on it. Then come back and tell me I'm making this stuff up.
