Had it done also with that BANG every time I started my bike. It made the bike run smoother also, but mine was $254.00 for it ,.

 

My 07 FLHT STD made all kind of noises. not just the compensator. I solved the problem & traded it in on a 11 FLTRX 103.

 

Yeah I know! Don't remind me. I've got the '09 with big bang evey time I start it.

 

Waiting for mine to crap out too so I can swap w/SE version...
