I have them on my 2010 Limited with over 10,000 miles in 19 months. Use them all the time and no problems so far. Wouldn't have another ride without them.

This is a no brainer.....

HD heated grips = expensive, crap shoot on reliability, no grip change

Heat Demons = affordable, high reliability, any time grip change

I wanted to put the HD grips on my 09 streetglide. The dealer talked me out of them because of their "reliability". Nuff said. Use hot shots of required.

27,000 miles in 15 months on my stock ones, no problems. If they stop working they're warranted until 2016.

As you can see from the responses - this is a hit/miss. IMO you're better off w/heated outerwear (i.e. gloves) because they give you better/even heat. I ran snowmobiles in MN winter w/both (heated grips & heated gloves) and "hands down" (no pun intended) gloves out-performed grips.

Oxford make a set for the HD. They sell for $70 including controller and all wiring. They are plug and play so only take a few minutes to install yourself.

Good quality. I've had a set on another bike for 5years with no issues.

With something like this I would suspect HD just re-brand somebody's heated grip product.
