extended warranty
#2
no, many warranties are voided by the most basic modifications, pipes, air cleaner etc- much of this is spelled out in the catalog regarding the Factory Warranty- the Extended Warranty is a complete other "product" and contract.
Since those are changes I do make to my bikes, the money paid out for an extended warranty would be wasted.
make sure you read up on the terms, ( I can't see your contract, so I do not know the terms spelled out in your paperwork)-- most States allow you a few day 'remorse period' to cancel and get your money back.
quite a few of the aftermarket warranty service companies are no longer operating- they were good and the collecting money part, just not so good at fixing the bike ( or car) part- they had stuff they had to do at the beach house instead.
H-D has a 2 year warranty, within that period, I keep the bike close to stock just in case I have a problem- I can put the stock pipes, air cleaner back on before going in.

Here we go again...
Nothing you do will "void" your warranty. A dealer can refuse to cover an aftermarket part, and they can refuse to cover an issue which they can prove was caused by an aftermarket part. They can't refuse to cover your radio if you have a Thunderheader on the bike.
If you bought a Harley ESP, you're covered at any dealership and most indys with a $50 deductible. As far as I'm concerned, if you ride a lot it's money well spent. Mine paid for itself in tires alone in less than a year.
