Nothing you do will "void" your warranty. A dealer can refuse to cover an aftermarket part, and they can refuse to cover an issue which they can prove was caused by an aftermarket part. They can't refuse to cover your radio if you have a Thunderheader on the bike.
If you bought a Harley ESP, you're covered at any dealership and most indys with a $50 deductible. As far as I'm concerned, if you ride a lot it's money well spent. Mine paid for itself in tires alone in less than a year.
