I have the Clearview 9" tinted on my RG. It is very high quality, thicker than stock and the well nuts are a big improvement over stock. I also have the Euro-Lip on mine. The lip supposedly adds 2" of air lift so the 9" acts like an 11" plus it just looks good. I have the stock shield, the HD short opaque black and the Clearview. I run the Clearview all the time. It gives me just the right amount of protection and I still get the wind in the hair and the look I like....not the hair, the bike!!
I would buy a Clearview again without hesitation.

Mines 2" over 2.5" closer to me has the light gray tint and the adjustable vent which I really like, it's the shield in my pic. Well made and solved all the problems I had AND it dosn't shake like crazy when you idle! I'm 6'2" to give you some scale

HI to answer your question, im 5'10" i have the one inch taller then stock, with the vent, I LOVE IT keeps the wind from pushing my glasses all over at 8omph, the vents gonna be great in warmer weather, NICE PRODUCT, and the fasteners ARE superior to STOCK also NO FEAR. pic of bike is before the new shield.

Careful with all the measuring of the stock shield along the spine. I did that and convinced myself I needed a CV Large. Nope - too tall and cut right across my sight line. Sent it back for a Medium - light gray tint - no vent but I debated it with myself.
Give them a call or email. THEY actually measure from the top of the shield straight down to some fixed point like the gas cap. I forget.
But the shield angles back further so you cannot compare spine lenght.
I'm 6' 1" on a stock RG seat and the line of sight is perfect with a Medium.
Another thing to watch for is if your handlebars -in my case stock - are angled up too much then the mirror might hit the edge of the CV shield at full lock. Mine did not but it's close at about 3/8 inch. Solution, so I hear, is to angle them down a tad - a real PITA.
Love the CV though.

I'm 5'10" and use the GT Small tinted without the vent. I like it but I get some turbulance at highway speeds that seem to make my glasses flutter, I have been thinking about getting a medium one and giving that a try. I think the quality is 10 times better than the stock sheild and the rubber gasket and well nuts are much better as well.
