Default spark plug change interval and type

I know the manual and maint schedule says inspect/replace at specific intervals, just curious what most riders are changing their spark plugs out at? and the HD 6r12, or something else? I've got almost 20k on mine and they still look good.

I change mine out per the service manual and as for the plug type I'm not particular about it.

I use OEM plugs and change them once a year.

From the day I got my first HD over 12 years ago, an old school mechanic told me use the stock oem and nothing else, thats what Ive done on pumped up bikes and have never had a problem. Platnum plugs are made to last a long long time, thats when cars went to 100k mile tune up schedule.

I always eplace them with the OEM plugs every time I change the rear tire. Helps me remember......kind of like changing the batteries in the smoke detector at every Thanks Giving.

Change 'em beginning of every season along with the oil change. I use the standard HD plugs.

I wouldn't your money on SE plugs or any of the touted high performance types. Waste of money IMO.
