One thing I forgot to mention is that the space between the wheel pulley and shock boot is reduced from about 1/4 inch to .024 inch when the Pingel spacer is used. You could space out the shock some if needed. As each bike is slightly different you need to check everything when changing to the larger MU rear tire.
