OTD price on 2011 street glide in NY
I'm in the middel of buying a 2011 merlot sunglo street glide. It does not have a ABS, security, cruise and just hass the 96CI engine. They are giving me 9620 for my 09 FXDC with 5800miles(kbb high trade in for my bike is 9380). There out the door price of the new bike is $22971. Tax 854, dealer prep 400, freight 380, liecens fee 10, doccumentation fee 45, and other charges and fees 73. The bike is being bought at stans Harley davidson in Batavia,ny thats in the middle of buffalo and rochester. does anyone in the NY area think a better deal could be had at another dealer in the NY area? My family has been buying bikes and service with them since 2008 so in the past few years my brother, father and myself have spent some money in there store. Thanks for any info from my western new york brothers

I've bought some bikes from them (Debbie) in the past. Lately, they seem to be holding on to higher priced deals. Maybe due to fewer bikes to each dealer. Their service is terrific and you can't beat the hourly rate (about $55/hr. as I recall). I'd work them against American HD in N. Tonawanda. Go see Joe. By the way, I couldn't make a deal with Debbie on my 2010EGC and finally bought in FL where I spend winters. Having said that, I would give them an opportunity next time I'm ready to trade.

While it's nice to stay local, I'd take a ride over to the Albany, NY area and give Spitzie's H-D and Brunswick Harley-Davidson a visit. Look around, feel them out and do some talking. Nice to know what your options are.
I visited about 5 dealers days before I bought my current bike. Bought locally in the end but with a deal I was willing to live with. Good luck!

I've heard alot of good things about Spitzie's HD in Albany although I ended up purchasing my new ride at Danbury HD. your gonna pay 21209+ taxes freight not the msrp of 19479 + 1762 (taxes and tags)= 21241. Not a great deal unless the otd price includes an extended warranty or a service plan. I would shop around some more since even though your family has purchased bikes in the past they are looking to make some extra $$ off of you.. Just my
