Im in the market for a new seat and i really like the way the Corbin Dual Tourer looks. In my search here for opinions i see a few people that say the passenger dont much care for the seat because it pushes them forward. By looking on the Corbin site the passenger area does appear to be angled slightly forward. Anyone have an opinion on this you could share with me.
Looked at this seat but ruled it out because its only 15 1/2 inches wide and the stock seat on my '10 EG Classic is 15. I suffer from Fat Butt Syndrome so I was looking for something wider and more cushy. Corbin seats tend to be a bit on the hard side. I agree with the poster who said its either love it or hate it with Corbin.
Never had a Corbin but my passenger and I are very comfortable on HD's Sundowner.
My wife loves the passenger seat on the Sundowner. She noticed it right away and all of a sudden wasn't upset about the empty box in the garage any longer. I did notice that it moved me forward by a great deal, but it does support the back much better.
I just sent the cash to a fellow member for a used one. I am anxious to try it out. Not sure how the passenger seat is, I have heard that moving the TP back 3" works wonders for the passengers comfort.
