Just about everybody says that they wish they had gone higher. If you are undecided between 14 and 16, go 16 by that criteria. For quite a while I thought I wanted 14s but now I think if I ever pull the trigger I will get 16s.

I was lucky a local dealer had a RK with 16. I was able to sit on it and try them out. I am sure if you ask her some will let sit on thier bike and try them out.

IMO....Yes...Apes are very comfortable. I have 12's on my RK and wish I would have gotten 14's.

I have 14" Wild Ones. I would have gone taller, but Ohio frowns upon them. Black forks and nacelle with chrome controls and ISO grips. Go as tall as you can.

Went from stockbars to 12.5",to 16" apes on my 06'RK classic. They are VERY Comfortable and look great. My RKC is vivid black,w/alot of chrome on it.By the time I put the 16" bars on (end of last year) I had to go w/the chrome bars.If I had to do it over again I think I would have went w/black bars/forks/pipes,ect,ect.But I have no complaints about the way she looks, and get alot of compliments. It's all a matter of taste. And the best part about dressing up your bike.If you get sick of the way it looks or it's not what you want, you can always take it apart and do it all over again.
BTW I have kuryakyn iso grips, HD chrome housing switches, but kept the stock black button. And have Kuryakyn black leather wraped hand levers.good luck w/your project.

Turbo3pt3,.....That is one bad looking ride you got there! What brand of stretched saddlebags do you have? Would love to see more pics!
