Just so you know some states wil not allow anything over your shoulders. Just something to keep in mind. I say 16's.

yep 16's for sure! im about your height and mhands are not any higher than my shoulders. and about comfort, yes i think they are comfortable.

I'm glad you posted that pic. I started out thinking 10" monkey bars would be what I wanted. Then 12". Now I'm thinking 14". From the picture, it looks to me like your hands are a little higher than your shoulders, which I don't think I would want. It's good that they're comfortable for you, but I don't think that would be for me.

Oops. I just realized you're saying you're about the same height at the OP -- 5'8". I'm a bit taller than you, so that brings me back to considering the 16"ers.

I've read that there's some variation among the different bars. Anybody know how the Wild 1s Steelhammer has would compare to PYO OEM Monkey Bars?

 

I was at the dealer today and there happened to be a Road King with a Sundowner seat in for service and sporting some 16" wild ones. With permission I took the chance to try them out. No longer worried about 16" being too tall for me.
