Finished installing my oil filter relocation kit. No more messy motor mount for me, no more chance of loosening the oil cooler adapter during filter changes and no more trying to carefully fit the oil filter wrench in with the oil cooler hoses. Works like a charm. Had to add about 12-15oz of extra oil to account for the lines. Filter is now tucked in and under the left passenger footboard. Here's some pics, not that great cuz it's all loaded in the trailer already.

Dawg, very cool!

Can I offer up the first dumb question? I don't see a muffler on that side. Did you go 2-into-1, or was the muffler merely off the bike during the pic. Just can see from the pic. And that extra 15-16 oz.? Hey, extra cooling!

I saw that you said "trailer"......as in queen!?
Then i saw where you're from! Guess that'd be a damn cold ride till you got down the coast a bit.
Would you have to use an oil cooler to do this or can you just do a relocate?

Did you get that from the guy on HTT? I thought that looked pretty clean. Let me know how it works.

You do not need an oil cooler, it is just to relocate. Having the cooler is one of the reasons I did it.

Yes, I thought it was a great idea so wanted to give it a shot. So far it seems like it will work great. No issues while the bike is running. I'll get some ride time in Daytona and let you know how it goes.

Dan Moore makes it. He is calling his business "Moore Sensible Products." His email is bigdanmo@charter.net On another note, I sent him some pics of the install and was enthralled about the leather wrap on the saddle bag guards that you got me.

Neat, between the extra oil needed and having a cooler also that should work pretty good, definetly easier to access.

Hey dawg, how did your new MOD do once you got to Daytona?

I have a feeling that the front of my bike will be corrosion free for the rest of it's natural born life
