The good thing is that I have a new mount that was sitting at the house waiting for me when I got back! Won't be able to try it up here for a few weeks/months though

Hey at least if something goes this time I won't be on the side of 5 lanes of 80mph traffic on I-4 somewhere in between Daytona and Tampa trying to swap **** out!

What happened? Bracket holding the filter break or something.

The fittings the guy used on the remote mount were faulty. About an hour into it, mainshaft pulled up beside me and told me to pull over. I was spraying oil all over the back of my bike and the front of mainshaft's bike and another guy riding with us. I had to unhook it and move the filter back so I could continue on. Made a mess on side of I-4 doing that. The guy said one other person had a problem with the fittings also so he redesigned it using better fittings and sent me a new mount. I won't be able to try it out for about another month or so.

Very cool idea. Appreciate the info and the pics. Thanks Dawg! Hope to hear a little more about this in the future. I'd like to make this swap.

Isn't that called marking your territory?

Little roadside R&D huh. Glad it all worked out and he is taking care of the problem. I'm still intrigued by it and am kicking around the idea of adding it.
