I have the older 7.25s without the vented voice coil or amp. Above half volume without the vented voice coils you will start to smell burning vaseline this has bothered me since i installed them. I hope there is an upgrade kit soon.

I smelled burning vaseline once. Then I realized that I was stroking my voice coil too fast and slowed down. The experience left me wanting so I switched to warming KY.

JMJohn,
Will the new 500w system plug in to my existing head unit and can you have the radio configured so the fader will work like a ultra so you could send more volume to the lowers? Also will the speakers mount in the lowers where the stock ones were or is there an adapter?

Dr. V-Twin is offering all new J&M Rokker products as a discount as we do with all of their stuff as well. Let me know if you need pricing or want to get on the wait list for the first stuff to roll in the door. It should be here any day now.
