Anyone using a Vista Cruise throttle lock?
Just like the title says......
Anyone using a Vista Cruise throttle lock? If so, does it work okay? Any problems?

I like the BrakeAway one better, but don't have the cash to spare.

And I'm not interested in using the thumbwheel or any devices that snap onto it. So no need for those suggestions.....

Hey Cuda,
I used one on my 2002 Lowrider when I traveled from WA State to Sturgis. I have arthritis in my thumbs and wanted something to lock the throttle occasionally so I could rest my hand. For the price, I think I paid $30.00, it was a great investment. It works great on flat stretches, but if you are going up hill you will have to twist your throttle every once in a while to maintain speed. It works great once you get it adjusted, and you can over ride it in an emergency, just twist the throttle closed. It has a thumb lever which makes it very easy to set or disengage. I think you will like it. My new bike has electronic cruise control. Just set it and it will maintain speed. Hope this answered your question.
Be safe.

I'm looking for one for my FLHTC and my wife's FXDL. This one is for the HD's, but can't find exactly how it's installed. Is this one the same as you guys installed ? http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/vi...07-4046-HARLEY

Don't know about the locks, but a Throttle Rocker can be a big help too. I have one on my super glide. Let's you use the heel of your hand so you don't have to maintain a death grip on the gas all the time.
