Ya just gotta laugh.....

coming down fast and furious here. And it's that slimy snotty heavy snow. We have received about 8" so far and it is not letting up. Now the winds are picking up really strong as well. Should be a fun commute home. Normally an hour one way. At this point I will add at least another 40 minutes to that.

I wish i could laugh. This is my 8th winter in Vermont and as Rickr01 said, its coming down fast and furious where I am too. I actually thought we might get lucky and be done, I was actually starting to see little pieces of my driveway before this!
This winter was the last straw. I have a realtor coming tomorrow to list the house and I am heading south where I can ride all year and not have to shovel snow!

Hey, at least some of you guys get an opportunity to ride occasionally throughout the winter. Sounds funny to listen to some of you complain about the snow and not being able to ride (justifiably so!). Up here, the bike goes under-cover in October-November and you don't even think about pulling it out until March or April. Looking more like April-May this year. Talk about an itch that needs to be scratched!
Anyway... I know some of you guys have had a tougher winter than your used to. I hope you guys get the break you need to put on a few miles soon. I'll be looking forward to April-May

Actually its pretty close to that here too. I covered her up at the end of October when the temps were starting to stay below 40. Last year my first ride was St. Patty's Day, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen this year. Probably closer to April before the snow melts in my driveway.
