Default Options for Hard wiring a USB port on bike

What are some of the options for hardwiring a power source for my IPhone using a USB port?

For $5.95 Office Depot sells a 12v to USB plug that is very compact and will fit right in you cigarette lighter terminal.

Powerlet has whatever you may be looking for.

Here's a search for USB:

for my acc outlet I have a cheapo $7 adapter from tj maxx, or ross.

the plug portion is almost flush with th einner fairing, my ipod cable plugs into it

in my tourpak I have a pepboys adapter with 2 x 12 outlets and a usb outlet hardwired.

I've looked at Power Outlet products. What I'm trying to avoid is, any "phone" type charger that plugs into the cigarette power outlet is too long and will hit the tank when the bars are turned to the left. I'm trying to find something that I can flush mount to the inner fairing (USB port) and have it hard wire. Am I making sense?

I use my Iphone mounted on a RAM mount that is mounted to the inner fairing.

Buy one that has a cord to plug in to the cig lighter. Cut the cig lighter plug off and wire it to the ACC switch, or other source of power.

Do a search on the forum. I remember reading, I think on this forum, how to hot wire it to the cig lighter within the fairing. It involved dismantling the cig power plug ($9 at Radio Shack) and hot wiring it to the power source for the cig lighter.

heres the best way i have found that works well.also charges eithier one with 5.5 volts as required.connects to battery and has rca jacks that you can connect to a patch cord that is rca to 1/8 for aux plug on radio.heres the link for the iphone adapter and the patch cord is about $4 on ebay.i also used this on my gl1500 and worked great.one cord for charging and ply back, all goes inside fairing.
