I have one of these - works great, no tank hitting, charges iPhone, and plugs into your existing cig lighter: Griffin Powerjolt SE

I do not recommend a USB type plug on your bike - water issues come to mind. :-)

As mentioned earlier in the thread I have a tapp lite sold here http://www.3brpowersports.com/products_TAPP.htm

I have been happy with the construction of the unit. It seems like nice durable construction and pretty weather proof.

Google a griffin P2275 dual usb adapter. A flush fit dual usb adapter. I use it on my ultra to power my gps and phone on the road. Easily clears the tank, got it at best buy.

Second the Griffin Powerjolt SE for above stated reasons. Purchased mine from Apple. Significant savings at above link..

Not sure if this will work, but I have one in my car and it works like a champ. Fits flush into the lighter and has 2 USB ports.

http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Techno...0802582&sr=8-3

I got mine off Amazon, and it was in full retail packaging and sells in the $35 range in stores locally.
