I've had lean years where I didn't have much of a bike, but I can't imagine not having something with 2 wheels and a motor.

There are lots of neglected evo powered bikes from the mid 80s that can be had for dirt cheap, and would give you something to work on. Someone with basic mechanical skills and some horse trading sense can always put something on the road. And right now, "rat bikes" are actually considered desireable.

Sell your mustang, and keep your bike.
You'll probably get a lot more $ for it than your bike in this day and market.

HERE is a link to my photobucket acct. to remind those of all the time, work, and compassion I put into my scoot.
That is a sharp bike! Is your front fender lowered?

Good luck to you and your girls. You do what you have to do, I understand that perfectly. I hope your kids appreciate it and I'm sure at some point in life they will. See you in the wind soon.

sorry to hear it. I told both my kids to save their money and get good grades so they could get student loans. Now my oldest the doctor. is in debt. past her ***. and I've still got my bike. I don't think my 10g would make a dent in her 100k loan. How about you?

What You have done is Honorable, in that Your Family comes first. But don't leave the forums. I enjoy Your post's, as Everyone else does. You can still post while awaiting Your next Bike.
