Default Luggage bag recommendation

I have an 08 Electra Glide Classic. It has a harley brand adjustable seat. No luggage rack.

Is there a nice luggage bag that will strap in to the passenger seat without too much hassle?

Get on google and search on motorcycle luggage. Tbags and NelsonRigg both make excellent bags and enough models to find pretty much whatever you are looking for.

Bought a NelsonRigg from Motorcycle Superstore. The one I bought is more than enough room in packing for a 4-5 day trip while saving my saddlebags for "gear". It straps in the passenger seat, or behind.

I realize there are a lot of bags out there. But most are made to mount behind the passenger.

This is what I use....... http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/344/GranTour-Bag. Put the saddle plate under the seat and attach the 4 Velcro straps, and your done.

Here's a video clip http://www.kuryakyn.com/Video-Center...intVideoID=127

I have a couple Nelson Rigg roll bags (good quality at a cheaper price than many others) I would mount to my drivers backrest on my Dyna. They work great and will use them on the SG as well when need more room than the saddlebags. I have the mini roll and the 250 I think it is. Just strap it to the backrest and let it sit on the passenger seat.

Check out the Kuryakyn Tombstone bag. Mounts on seat (or luggage rack) behind the driver and serves as a backrest also. Has different size pads for your back that you can change out.

I have the big T Bag.
sit it on the seat, it has straps that loop around the passenger grab bar, so secure.

has back pack strap tucked away if you need, and a pocket with a rain cover- although the bag is pretty water proof in my experience.
with it on the seat i can access all pockets and compartments- the front pocket holds my maps etc.

I have the optional top roll. ( rain gear)

it has reflective piping

- and it makes a DANDY backrest.

I know that's alot of crap, but I was out for a month camping and carried a lot of tools for the old evo.

like always check craigslist--- I bought this for like, $50

Mike

Saddlemen makes some real nice bags that will mount to seat or luggage rack and are still made in the USA.

have seat only mounted models also.
