to be fair, the interface does give you quite a bit of functionality, plus the sound quality is better through the interface than it is through the aux cable.
to each his own though.....
Have to admit I didn't think about the sound quality aspect....
I have a 2010 RGC. I used industrial Velcro on the left glove box and the back of the iPod. It stays and with it being on the left I can operate it while holding the hammer down.
i went with the riders claw chrome ipod holder. i didnt have it yet in my pic but it installs on the two screws on the housing by the hi/lo beam switch on your left hand. very handy to ff or switch playlists and still maintain throttle. www.ridersclaw.com
Same here, only not Chrome Claw, I went with black an I ain't never going back.
I put it on my left side and can access it easily with my thumb.
Velcro guy too, never had a problem. Someday I'll get the interface and velcro my IPOD under the fairing with it, to keep it out of sight and out of the weather.
