I was thinking of getting the Joe Florida Multi color kit so I can have my purple and the red and blue for Blue Knight events, but the site now says that there are only 7 colors and purple aint one of them. Anyone with some insight?

I have Florida Joe's multicolor light kit with remote control. The kit was inexpensive and easy to install...just do a little planning as to where you want to put them for the best effect. I taped them in place to see how I liked the visual effect before making the final install. I placed a strip on each side under the fuel tank and it gave a nice lighting effect on the engine.

I can tell you from experience dont go blue or red.....At least here in florida. Got pulled over and it cost me 155 buckeroos. Only police vehicles can run red or blue lights. So I am switching to white or purple.

The red and blue would not be for riding, only for display at Blue Knight events and possibly parades here in New Orleans. I participated in an event for the Sunshine Kids last week and the wished that my bike had the lights for the kids.

1sweetglide08, do you have one of the older kits or the new ones? I know the old kits listed purple, but the new ones do not.

Here's a picture with Florida Joe's multilight kit with the engine compartment lit. I also put them under the bike for ground light effect.

My neighbor has Joe Florida on his Fat Boy (white leds) and it looks nice. I run the Boogey Lights (white) for 2 years now and like them better. Boogey Lights uses a 5mm buld and seems to put out more light tham my neighbors bike does.
