New 2011 RKC w/ missing & wrong parts! Anyone else??

Thanks for all your input guys.. My initial gut was to pass on it too, but got a nice price for the bike, 20% of accessories, free 1st service, and some chrome pieces, etc..
I did a thorough inspection, and everything else was in order. It runs great, and obviously its under warranty.. I think I will send MoCo a note and see what their response will be..
Time to go riding....

But I would follow up with the MOCO with a letter just indicating the facts, I would also take up with the dealer in that you paid for a prep that did not happen. As a business owner I would want to hear about issues like that.

As far as your question about running it without the oil cooler until the 1K service - All I can say is that I noticed the 103 runs hotter, so I guess that is why they are putting the oil coolers on the stock 103 bikes. If it didn't need it, I doubt if they would be putting the oil coolers on stock bikes.

I did not pay any deal prep, but agree this is something they should have caught..
a few things that confirms this is a 103
1) it has 103 programing
2) it has the ACR
3) the VIN on the engine has a "M" which is the code for a 103
4) it has the 103 air cover
5) it has the OIL cooler adapter, just not the actual cooler
6) Butt dyno tells me it feels right
re running without OIL cooler for 1K.. I know the the 103 runs hotter, but here in the west coast, its still very cool out. I've also read quite a few members who do fine without coolers on highly modified motors in hot weather.

what happened isn't the assy. line messed up,it was the dealership took the parts for a warranty job on another bike, or to make a sale on another bike..they figure the buyer of your bike eater wouldn't know the difference or they would put the parts back on when they got in stock..i have been told to do this dozens of times working at dealerships..thats why they gave you a discount to make it rite and have to order the cooler
