The normal stock bulb is 55 watt low, 65 watt high.

The two bulb lens gave much less light than stock, on either setting. Frankly, can't speak to the pattern - because I couldn't see it. I am confident there would be no difference in the conclusions.

You are correct, HD used a lens that looked like the 2 bulb lens for their true H.I.D. (i.e. not a conversion). Low beam was the H.I.D. burner (bulb) - high beam was a halogen. In this case, the low beam stayed on when high beam was added. Cost was nearly as much as the JW/HD LED - I believe it says a lot that it is no longer available.

Correct. Harley had a older version:

Dual Bulb Halogen Headlamp Kit

The Dual Bulb Halogen Headlamp features advanced reflector optics and separate bulbs for high and low beam functions. The euro-inspired projector beam styling combines a state-of-the-art look with a CAD designed faceted reflector bowl that is optimized for crisp patterns and light cut-off. The single upper bulb functions in low beam, and both upper and lower bulb operate in high beam. The low beam setting produces a wide curb-to-curb light pattern, and the high beam adds focused light down the center of the lane without compromising width. Kit includes housing, 55-watt low beam halogen lamp, 35-watt high beam halogen lamp and all necessary mounting hardware. Does not meet ECE regulations.

Fitment:
Fits '91-later FLSTC, FLSTF, and FLSTN models. Does not fit models equipped with Chrome Headlight Nacelle Kit P/N 67907-96B.
ey had a older version:

bgill-

Finally got hold of my contact (he was at Daytona and another trip)...

He was surprised by that email... did you ever get a response to your second email?

I'm only guessing here - but maybe the June timeframe is for non-motorcycle distributors... The improved Phase 6 is initially aimed at the motorcycle market (i.e. 1 headlight). The Phase 5 is great in the 2 headlight arena (trucks, Jeeps, etc.).

Many distributors work with Kuryakyn (J&P Cycle, Custom Dynamics, etc), so more should be seeing the Phase 6.

I still recommend checking with your vendor of choice before ordering - if they're not sure, send them the link to the review so they have the pictures.

Pretty sure not everyone ordering has seen the review (you think?), so the Phase 5 should flush thru soon...

Just got the phase 6 from Eastern Performance for $249.95 as well. They told be they are selling like hot cakes right now. They also currently have in stock the TL Passing lamps, but they are not up on their website yet as they JUST received them Friday the 15th. They sold them to me at $89.95 apiece, and just wanted the Kurakyn part number (#2262) so they can find them in their inventory easier (if you call looking for them). Was getting a good deal so I also ordered the Kurakyn Halo Ring at around $73.

Will post some pictures when I get them all installed on my 08' Ultra. Plan on disconnecting the leads from the cigarette lighter to run the Halo Ring as I am already using the extra leads on the headlight harness to run a Garmin 660 I put on. Do any of you see a problem with using the cigarette lighter leads? (I NEVER use the the cigarette/power outlet, so I might as well use those leads).

Here is a side view of the trucklite version with the "frenched" ring.

Thanks for the update. Did the TL 7" for both my bike and the wifes - very happy with their performance.

Only problem I found was that the stock driving lights looked like yellow pissholes in the snow with the bright white from the LED headlight. So I ordered the 4" TL ones for both bikes and am just waiting for them to arrive.

you will be happy to know that each TL passing lamp alone is brighter than the headlight. The passing lights are the bomb !!

What does the profile of the passing lamps look like ?
Do they protrude also like the 7 in headlight .
Thats whats holding me back . Maybe TL will come out with a model 7 that fits like a stock light .
Can that not be done ?

The passing lamps do not protrude and fit just like the stock lights. The protruding phas 6 main headlamp still looks good. I posted some pictures under this link with all three attached with a profile pic:
