Unhappy Brothers Funeral

I lost my brother and I have been asked to ride his 1999 Police Road King behind the hearse. He always told me everything about his bike but never mentioned this problem. When I just took it for a ride there is a red "P" that is lit up. I don't have any manual or this bike. Could someone please let me know what this light is for.
Thank you in advance for your replies.

That is probably for "pursuit". The red slide on right handlebar cuts on the lights on the light bar. Slide it to the right and the light should go out. Sorry to hear about you're brother.

The red P is for the pursuit lights.
The red sliding switch by your right grip turns it on and off. It doesn't work anything since those lights have been removed.

edit....(Whoops Mike T got there ahead of me)

Sorry about your brother.

Sorry for your loss.

It's great that you can honor him by taking this ride for him.

Default Lost brother

I am terribly sorry for your loss. He'll be looking down on you with pride when you ride his bike. Maybe there is some solace in that. Once again , my condolances.

Add my condolences also...

What an HONOR! Yeh, the P is for the pursuit lights. Mine are now hooked to the light bar on front, so I call them Passing/Parking lights now.

Take that ride with the pride yer bro deserves!
