It is lower plus the ol'lady now has to look at the back of my head cuz she sits lower tooo.

I've had mine about a month. Got it from Denis Kirk. It is lower than the touring mustang seat I had before. Normal Mustang quality. I feel better being more flat footed and I really didn't notice being that much closer. It has a bit more back rest which should help on long trips. It's a keeper. I have a wide Mustang touring seat available for 09 or later Sreet Glide or touring. PM if interested. 4th bike I've had Mustang seats on.
