Update: Truck-Lite shipped the first batch of "phase 6" versions to distributors in Feb - currently on manufacturer backorder, likely waiting on a container ship from China. Note that they did not change part#'s so beware when ordering...you could get the old model!

The picture from where you bought from on ebay looks like the older version when compared to the photos in this review. The texturing on the lense doesn't look like what they show in this review for the newer version. http://www.lrsanitary.com/0/leds_update.pdf

Default Trucklite 27250c

This is the flyer from Trucklite web site. Hard to tell the difference from this pic. I like the pic from the comparison update posted on this blog better.
If you look for the difference in the company pic it's difficult to see what Trucklite changed. Can you?

If you look at the center section of the lense just below the center line. The pic from the truck lite ad has the same diffuser lines as the "phase " 6 one in the comparison report. I will be curious to see what Custom Dynamics sends me. Although i did only ask about how many LEDs that were lit for low beam.

Yes please post back and post a close-up pic of the front when you get it if you could.

Ebay vendor has confirmed the light he sold me was the older phase 5 version of the headlight. He will accept the return, as I told him I didn't want that older version.
Anyone know the part numbers for phase 5 and phase 6 Trucklite led 7 " headlite?

Same part# for both versions!
Truck-Lite gives uneducated consumers the shaft.

The brown truck brought my headlight today. The first photo is the light out of the box. The part number on the light and on the box is 27250c. The box says Made in USA but i couldn't find it on the light itself. The next photo is the light on low beam, 6 LEDs lit. The next is on high beam with all 10 LEDs lit. The last shows how far the lens sticks out from the ring. This is my only complaint. They were designed for cage use so this would not be an issue. I would think once they realize the market for motorcycles this will change. This light is BRIGHT!, but i believe it is worth every penny! If you order one of these from Custom Dynamics or anyone else be sure to verify what version you are getting. I ordered from Custom Dynamics because i have dealt with them before and they are excellent to deal with.
