Classic vs. Street glide ?

Classic vs. Street glide ?
I know I had a problem buying a HD SG but my dealer asked if I would be interested in a Classic at $2 K LESS then the SG ? I have a Black Denim w/Power Pak coming in next week and he has a EGC also in Silver w/ ABS and Cruise coming in with it . Now I know the Classic has a few items I want for the SG (Guards- Lights- Etc. ) I would have to take off Rear back Pak-Windshield- rear shocks- and side saddlebag guards- etc. I could most likely sell alot of items and make some more cash back ? With that extra cash I could do cams on the engine and get just as much power and maybe MORE then the 103 ?
What would you do ? Save the money and get the Classic and make it what you want OR just get the SG and pay the more money and get what you need ?
Thanks for all your answers

it's kind of a convertible-
eg classic. detachable tourpak, added lowers, roadking signal bar & plate mount. I have stock, streetglide and brawler seats, and swap windscreens depending on what i am doing.
i also swap shocks- stock for long trips loaded up, SG if I am just going to be around town.
The best of all worlds for me. I have not ridden my FXR since i got this bike, stripped down it's plenty light and fun.
to my eye, the guards around the saddlebags are preferable to just a big box hanging there, and the guards have saved me some damage on past bikes.
The fairing lowers give a visual balance ( to my eye- I like the overall profile of the bike to be a teardrop) are practical for weather, and improve cooling this motor in this warm climate

Yes I know the UC has way more then the EGC and when the dealer told me the difference was $2K LESS it kind of hit me? I sold my UC for almost the SAME PRICE as the EGC ? How is that for HD holding their value?
I can not believe you are following my threads ? LOL! Thanks for the following ! LOL!
