Just got back from a two day (Fantastic) ride from Modesto Highway 120 over Tioga Pass to 395 then North to Bridgeport Ca for the night - then 395 to 89 over to 4 back to 49 then home on 120. the Weather was Perfect and the Fall color (for this area folks NOT like the East coast - this is all we have) was "On fire" Good rides off 395 are Lundy Lake, Virgina Lake and Twin lakes. All and all could not have had a better ride. Sure saw a LOT of Gold Wingers out in force.. Also got to give my Wild1 #513 a good test ride - they work great on a Road Glide set up. If you live in this area and have the time.. take a ride before the color is gone and the cold sets in.. And if you do - stop at the "Wow Nellie Dellie" at 120/395 its a Mobil station and the food is GREAT!!! http://www.yosemite.org/newsroom/cli...ust/081705.htm

Ahhh... autumn! Sounds like a great ride! Nothing like the fall colors and crisp air!

 

A 2-day fall ride, hard to beat ain't it ? looks like you had a great ride, cool pics to, thanks for sharing.....always cool to see someone elses road trip.

Thanks man, ride was one of the best of the year. Something about the smell of the fall leaves and the cool air in the face makes this the best time of the year to be on the bike.

Very nice picture = looks very different = how did you do that??? Daughter lives in Watertown MA..

 

It's one of about 4 photos I took with my digital camera. To be honest, the ones I took without the bike in the photo actually came out better but this was the best one of the SG. That's what I love about digital cameras, I can take 50 photos with no regrets........and just delete the bad ones.
Watertown is about 1.5 hours from here and not nearly as 'removed' from civilization as I am. I am blessed to live near some of the best scenery MA has to offer within 10 minutes of my home.
