Harley's model designation for the Road Glide.

FHTX = Street Glide
FHTC = Electra Glide Classic
FHTCU = Electra Glide Ultra Classic

etc.!

All Harley's have similar alphabetic identifiers.

Well, missed that one. I thought I had the touring model designations down for the most part. Obviously not.

Touring models start as FL's.

FLHX = SG
FLTR = RG
FLHR = RK
FLHTCU = Ultra

And so on.....

Hell, I think the Softails start out as FL's, too.

The "FL" designates the large front forks (usually).

Default Hardware for Invisible Fairing Supports

I used the factory acorn nuts to cover them, but there is still a gap, but looks better than the regular nylon nut that comes with the brackets.
Thanks for posting the pics (I love that new Sedona Orange too).
When we began looking at this project there were a couple of differences in the OE fairing support widths. H-D uses studs mounted on the turn signals and chrome acorn caps, which because of the closed end don't tighten properly when our design is used. We designed the Invisible Support so they cover all exposed hardware from the riders view. We provide nylocs to make sure the support tightens properly.
I appreciate the feedback and thank all of you for discovering the vented fairing lower trick.

You are right about the support bracket hiding the hardware, but I'm a perfectionist and wanted it covered up. I'll either trim the factory studs or find deeper acorn nuts. I do like the brackets though, clean up the front of the bike.

Here's an idea!
Remove the acorn nuts...use the allen wrench to remove the studs...buy some chrome buttonheads/washers that will fit into the turn signal housings.
I did this with a different brand highway bar eliminator.
I think the bolt sizes needed are 5/16 x 18...you'll need two 3/4" and two 1 1/4"
