Question 98 road king brake pads

Hello Folks,

Can I do a visual to see what the remaining pad life is left on the front (dual) and rear rotor(s) of my 98 road king?

The manual says to take them apart and measure them, but perhaps a visual will work.

Thx . . .

the inboard side is a little hard to get a good look at..just replaced mine today front and back...if you need some...got mine here for a good price. don't know how long they will last compared to MOCO but i'll try them once.

got em on ebay from a seller named carolinabiker. 53.00 for all 3 pair shipped...

It's only a couple of bolts to get them off. I take the calipers off mine every 5k when I service it. They get cleaned, inspected, and regreased. Mine tend to get mushy and not very effective after several thousand miles. The cleaning and regreasing of the pins makes them stop on a dime again.
