Question Vance & Hines Duals???

Anyone have either the Dresser Duals or the Power duals installed on your bagger? Just curious how hard they are to install and if there is really any difference in the two.

Thanks

I have the Power Duals on mine. I had them installed at delivery so I can't help you much with installation difficulty. From my research there seems to be a slight power loss with the Dresser Duals compared to the Power Duals. Probably not enough to notice but I opted for the Power Duals anyway. They look good on the bike and sound decent with the slip on mufflers I added.

I installed the Power Duals it took a couple hours made the mistake of not putting the shields on the pipe before putting on the bike. Other than that it was a good fit on the quality of V&H is fantastic. I have heard as well that there is a slight power loss with the dresser duals, not sure if would be noticed or not.

Power duals on my 2011 "K" model. The X-pipe is starting to grow on me. A two hour job, V&H great quality.

The install is simple, but since it is for a bagger it takes a little bit of time. I helped a buddy put these on. Power duals are supposed to yield more power hence the name. I can get them for you at a nice discount as well.

Power Duals don't give any more power, but slightly more TQ. I talked to V&H before I bought mine.I have had both, now running the dresser duals, and I can't tell any TQ loss, but I do notice more HP on the top end. Also nothing sounds better than a true dual set up,sounds just like a Harley should.

I have Dresser duals on mine. I have ridden bikes with both set-ups I prefer the sound of the True Duals. Seat of the pants, it was hard to tell the difference in torque.

I put the dresser duals on mine Saturday. Took about an hour but I already had the stock exhaust off since I had changed cams too. Have D&D Slips-on mufflers. They had a nice rumble with the stock headers but these true duals really made it loud.....

I have had true duals on since last Winter. They sound great especially with the Monster Ovals. They are loud enough to tell what gear you are in and not too loud on the highway. I don't know about performance because I had the bike dynoed right after I put the duals on last Winter. With the 103, 255 cams and true duals, I am at about 89 hp and 99 ft lbs of torque. No other motor work has been done. The bike moves along well.

I have the Dresser Duals with Monster Rounds. I preferred the 2 pipe look over the bow tie heat shield.

Install was straightforward. Just pay attention to the hose clamp directions because they are a pain to turn around once the shields are on.

Love the sound.

Can't speak for any power difference as I did a PCV, Autotune and had it dyno'd within a week.
