Leave your bike sit out in the HOT sun. That should heat your grips.

+1 on the heat demons, but if you have Chubby 1 1/4 bars (575) they won't work, ID of the bars is too small for them to fit.

if your just trying to keep your fingers from freezing, i would check out gerbings heated gloves, gerbings.com, you wont be able to cook hotdogs on your grips, but its way easier and probably cheaper, and allows for upgrades to other heated gear, jacket liner, pants liner, even insoles

I just installed Heat Demons, awesome product, works great! Looks Stock. I finally got to test mine the other day, I had to turn the temp down, because my hands started sweating.

Not too bad to drill hole at all. For me it took about an hour and a half, I have done it three times so far. I did heat sharing all the in fairing connections. On another note, I have heated grips and thumb warmer on my quad which are made by symtec who makes the demons. And my left side quite working, the element burned out. So I called them and they sent me a brand new one for free! They stand behind their American made products!

The heated Grips will be good for shorter Trips, but if you do long rides in chilly winds,
forget heated Grips, they just heat the innerside of your Hands. Gloves will heat your finger/hand all arround. And even better are the heated socks. Both with PWM-Switches (pulse width modulation). The only thing i miss on my bike in the wintertime are Spikes.
