I've had the Heat Demons for about a year now and really like them. It wasn't until recently that I discovered that if you hold down the switch a couple seconds, the indicator lights will dim for night riding. Just thought I'd throw that in.

I just installed my Heat Demons Sunday night and I think they are going to be great. My Kuryakyn grips got so hot I wouldn't want my bare hand on there on the highest setting.

If you go with them PM me for some install tips I learned. I even posted a little about the install the other day.

All I see on the web site are these, it says Excludes 1 1/4" chubbys. Am I missing something? Not all 1 1/4 bars are the same, the chubbys are thicker than most and the ID is smaller.

They sell some for Chubby's. That is what I have on my bike. If you try to use the regular ones on Chubbys you will have to ream out the ends of the handlebars a little so they fit.

D'Artagnan.....Thats good to know about being able to dim them. I missed that in the paperwork if it was even in there.

So you have Wild 1 bars and the 1-1/4" heat demons worked without reaming the inside of the bar?
Does the controller actually need to be fitted over the 1-1/4" bar? Right now my clutch is on the 1" side.

Thats correct. They were made for them. If you look at the ebay item I posted above they have them. The controller just replaces your existing clutch clamp cap. (say that 3 times fast LOL) The Chubby bars are turned down in the grip/control areas so that all your stock hardware works.

You can see in the picture how the ends are smaller.
