Default My personal opinion.....

I think it's a shame that when buying a replacement seat like this, the manufacturer HAS TO make the passenger seat big too.
Suppose you're like me and almost never carry a passenger and actually like the look of a small passenger seat?
I like the way the passenger seat almost disappears into the fender on my stock seat for my 2011, FLTRX.
Guess I'm lucky the stock seat is so comfortable and I'm not looking for a replacement.

Doesn't look as big on the RK as the stock seat for passenger is already decent sized compared to the SG and RG

I hear ya. I personally don't mind the bigger seat; I'll probably never take the tour pack off and go for the SG look. Besides I want the OL to have as much comfort as possible (she ain't happy, I ain't happy ).

When I talked to a rep @ Mustang he explained that I could go with a Vintage Solo seat and add a smaller passenger seat. He said it would have a smaller/better look overall, once I removed the tour pack. From what I understood it will still lower you somewhat like the Lowdown. BL, if someone wants a smaller passenger seat then the separate seat option may be a good choice.

bump.. Anyone receive this seat yet? I have a 2011 SG..

Anyone know what the difference between the lowdown and this one is? The ebay link looks sleeker, or am I mistaken?

Also hoping lower seat doesn't mean less comfort/awkward ergonomics with feet/floorboard position..

You can go here and check out my comments for the Lowdown, I don't think Mustang has any "Lower" than this...
