what is your issue with them?

I have an stock HK, J&M 7 1/4 's . It sounds hollow, not sharp.

When those first came out on the market last year, there were people on here that were not happy with them, they got blasted for not going along with the flow, there was always something wrong with them or their bike, never the speakers or amp. Good lesson in not jumping on the band wagon.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about the J&M 7.5 and 250 amp.

I'm happy with my J&M 7.25's and 5.25's, ran without an amp for a while and they were fine.
Added 150 w 4 channel amp and they are even sweeter. No complaints here.

really dont think you will get bass from any set up the fairing is not sealed or ported like a sub box I would love more bass but right now I have the Sony CDXGT640UI head with a Kenwood amp and Hog tunes in the front I watch all these threads hoping someone has found a speaker that will give what were all looking for

Not sure how anyone thinks good bass could ever come out of a faring that is nether sealed nor ported for good bass response. Have only the 7.25s in the wife's bike with stock head unit for $220. I have the Hog Tunes amp and 5.25 speakers in the RG for $350+. Her output and clarity are equal to if not slightly better than the more expensive set up in the RG. So to me the J&M is the better deal by far. Now add an amp and I have no doubt it would blow my set up away, but I would never expect killer bass from a faring no matter the set up.

Quick Reply: So I put these J&M 7.25's in.
