I dont have access to water in my winter storage so I need some advice on a good, all purpose cleaner that I can use on my paint and chrome before I shine.

 

why not use a big bucket of very warm (lightly soapy) water?

 

The Harley spray polish....Honda originally made it and it's unreal good. Honda Spray Polish Cleaner. Lifts dirt and shines. No streaking. $6 a can is not bad but it goes quickly if you're not easy with it.


Cleans chain lube, bugs, wheels and shines paint chrome like wax.

 

Meguiars Quick Detail works pretty well. Just make sure you're not rubbing dirt into your paint. Spray on, wipe off, then reapply and polish.

 

S100 Detail + Wax if water isn't available

 

Try Meguiars (spelling) ultimate quik detailer and a micro cloth. Works well with no water.

 

Lemon Pledge

 

 

Pledge? No kidding? Ok, cool. Just apply over the dirt and wipe?

I tried some fancy spray and wipe detailing stuff from the auto parts store, but Lemon Pledge does a better job, and shines better.

If its really dirty, I'll wipe it down with some simple green cleaner and a damp microfiber towel, and then the Lemon Pledge with another clean micro fiber towel.
