OK! SWEETENING THE POT!

I am writing a series of articles and would appreciate it if you'd help out with some info if you have the time or know of any of these issues happening to you or someone you know.

But we REALLY need survey answers - and especially stories or incidents of any of these things happening!

So we've decided to do a Brukus product give-away to one lucky entry - whose name will be drawn! The exact prize will be decided between Brukus and the lucky entry and will be posted on this thread! This contest will run until midnight, March 6th, to give you plenty of time to take the survey.

ALL survey entries will be entered to win - whether you've experienced any of these occurrences or not.

If you do answer, please state the model and year of the bike and the country / area of the country where this happened. Response from any country welcome - as we do ship internationally! And, while this is all about Harleys, if you know of this happening to any other make of bike - please include.

No names will be used in the article, so no worries about that. But if you'd rather message me with your response, that's fine, too.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond!

Survey:

~ Have you or anyone you know ever had a motorcycle or any accessory on a motorcycle stolen? If so - what were the circumstances - i.e. where, when how...? Was the property recovered?

~ Have you or anyone you know ever had their saddlebags "fly off" while traveling down the road? Please give any details.

~ Have you or anyone you know ever had a motorcycle fall over because the kickstand was on an uneven or soft surface or because it "gave way"?

~ Have you or anyone you know ever had problems maneuvering a kick stand pad/coaster under the kickstand when needed on a soft or uneven surface? (i.e. almost fell, hurt yourself, etc.)

Thanks, again, for helping me out! And don't forget to also include the year and model of the bike and the country / area of the country in which it happened.

Yes- 1996 Honda CBR 600 NY. Stolen from a locked garage. It was never recovered.

Yes- A couple of friends bikes fell over from hot asphalt (1993 GSX-R 750 & 1992 FZR-600) NJ. I always used a plate under my sport bike kick stands.

Yes- Especially on gravel. Just a P.I.T.A. No potential danger.

edit: I take that back. Some jerk took my throttle rocker off my grip once. I don't remember the circumstances.

How long ago was the Honda stolen?

Understand about the kick stand coaster.
