I have a 8.5 KW on my Ultra. I love it. It is perfect for me. I'm 6'1" with a 33" inseam. I'd buy it again.

Good luck.

5 10, 9 inch LRS "Classic" hits about mouth/chin level w/sundowner seat.
Perfect for ducking in under if you need to.
Had a 6.5 KW, hated it unloaded it fast.
I don't care for any of the other "aero-dynamic" lookin' shields neither.
They look they got melted in the sun, somehow..

How tall are you? I have a 7.25" VStream that I'd like to sell. I'm 5'9" & the top of the VStream was right below my line of sight. I wanted something a little lower. PM me if you're interested in the VStream. It has about 300 miles on it.

I have an 8" for solo and a 10" for when I have the wife on back with two up seat and tour pack on. The 8" is great for me but the air stream goes over my head and buffets her. We are both about 5'11.

7" LRS Xtreme Black stops the Sunglasses from jumping at high speeds. I can hear the stereo much better as well. Simple to install. One note be careful if you have windshield bags. With the curve of the LRS its not possible to have the 3 bag version. 2 works with a bit of coaxing.

Got an 8" flattop from http://www.customflhtwindshields.net/index.html It does everything the ad says it does. I really like mine.

it's your torso length that matters not your actual height. sit on your bike and hold a string in your lips (parallel to FLAT ground) while someone else holds the other end straight and measures from the fairing top to the string. that measurement will determine the optimal height needed (+/- from chin to bottom of nose). I measured 6 1/2 so I got the HD windsplitter (after I confirmed with HD parts that it was indeed polycarbonate and NOT modified acrylic)
